HEARD, HUGGED, OR HELPED?

Checking in…. sometimes we all need a little support. That support can be different for each person and vary from day to day. We are not supposed to do this alone or feel like we’re alone. There is always someone we can turn to even if it is our own self.

When it seems you are alone do an assessment and ask yourself this question: How can I be supported today? What do I need?

Be HEARD: Sometimes we just want someone to listen to us and understand our point of view.

Be HUGGED: We often just need to feel cared about with love and compassion to calm our anxiety.

Be HELPED: When we need advice or a hand with a task we should never feel guilty about asking for help. Everyone needs help sometimes. Then sometimes we can help others when they need it too.

If no one is available, you can provide yourself the support you need with patience and time to process what you are feeling. We owe it to ourselves to love our own self enough to know when we need support and not be afraid to ask for it or spend time receiving it.

Wishing you the support you need and the courage to get through anything that comes your way today. These be wise words to self. I hope they also resonated with you. Take care and try to do something creative for yourself today!
